In beautiful shades of sky blue, Piikani/Blackfeet artist John Isaiah Pepion has painted a family of horses to gallop across a vibrant sunset. At the heart of his design, he pays tribute to the horse culture of his people, while the Morning Star bands the top and bottom of the blanket, bringing you good luck, positive dreams, and blessings.
